Guidelines

Review will be based on a 4-page document that must be uploaded as part of the paper submission process. Invalid or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.

This document should adhere to the following guidelines:

  • The IEEE conference template must be used.
  • The content must adhere to general standard for a conference paper and is expected to include the title, author list and affiliations, abstract, references, and figures.
  • The maximum total length of your paper is 4 pages.
    • References of ½ page or less in length must be included within the standard 4-page limit allocated for technical content.
    • References exceeding ½ page in length may extend into a fifth page. The technical content may never exceed 4 pages.
  • PDF-file only (max 50 MB).
  • Papers must be submitted via the ICMC 2026 paper submission portal
  • Should your work be accepted, a revision of your work may be requested, based on reviewer’s feedback. The scope of this revision must be limited to language, correction of obvious mistakes, formatting, etc. Significant changes to the technical content are not accepted in this phase.
  • The presentation format (oral or poster) of accepted papers will be assigned by the ICMC Technical Program Committee and communicated to authors in the acceptance notification.

Uploading Your Paper

  1. Please visit the ICMC 2026 paper submission portal to create an account or log in.
  2. Complete all necessary fields including,
    1. Paper/abstract Title
    2. Abstract, max. 250 words. May be identical to the abstract included in the 4-page paper. (Will be used for the conference program.)
    3. Relevant topics & keywords
    4. Author/presenter information 
  3. Specify your preferred presentation modality: Oral or poster. Please note that the
    ultimate decision rests with the committee.
  4. Accept all terms and conditions.
  5. Press “Submit”.
  6. Submissions can be edited up until the deadline of February 1, 2026.

Generate an IEEE Xplore-compatible manuscript using PDF Xpress

All final manuscripts must be generated using the PDF Xpress tool. To generate the
IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF file of your paper, follow these steps:

  1. Create your IEEE PDF eXpress account: https://ieee-pdf-express.org/account/login
  2. Conference ID: 64879X
  3. The first time you access the system, please follow the link to the new user.
    Please note that to access the service, you need to allow the use of cookies from
    the PDF eXpress website. Once you have registered as a new user:
    1. Upload the source file (containing your paper) for conversion.
    2. Receive by e-mail the IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF of your paper.
  4. After using PDF Express, remember to also submit your IEEE Xplore compatible PDF via Oxford Abstracts. PDF Express will not automatically submit your document!
  5. Please remember that the IEEE Copyright form and PDF Xpress are different
    requirements. To be eligible for publication, all accepted papers must have the
    IEEE Copyright form completed within Oxford Abstracts by the final paper
    submission date (May 10 th ). Completing PDF Xpress alone is not sufficient for
    publication.
